Daffodil Hill is preparing to open for its 70^th season on March 20, where visitors can enjoy the addition of 16,000 new bulbs and the newly installed monument commemorating Martin and Mary Ryan. Inscribed with a poem written by local CHP Officer Joy Palmquist, the monument is a tribute to the prior generation’s hard work on the Hill, their dedication to Amador County, and their love for their family, according to a family spokesperson.
