Golden Nugget Awards Recipients Announced |
The Amador County Chamber of Commerce is
pleased to announce Kathleen Harmon of the Interfaith Food Bank and
Floyd Martin of the American Legion as this year's selections for the
7th Annual 2010 Margaret Dalton Golden Nugget Awards. The awards dinner will be held on March
12, 2010 at Thomi's in Jackson. This prestigious award is given to Amador County's unsung heroes, an inspiration of
the late Margaret Dalton, Jackson Rancheria's Tribal Chairperson for over 25 years.

New radio station for Sutter Creek?

There is a demand for
new local radio stations across America, but the
radio dial is full in most cities. Sutter Creek is one of only
66 towns in the United States
that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in Washington has determined to be “underserved”
and eligible for a new radio station.
