Picture Perfect booth being built for California State Fair
 

With the California State Fair just a few months away, the Chamber of Commerce is once again busy with organizing and preparing for the big event. Every year, the Chamber contracts with the Amador County Board of Supervisors to build a booth representative of our incredible region, and this year, with little time and money, Chamber Director Kam Merzlak stepped up and came up with a fresh and innovative design.

     The booth will offer visitors a ‘slide show’ of photographs depicting the many virtues and attractions our tourists have come to love. The life-size pictures will rotate continuously, bringing striking and inviting scenes to view.

     In addition to the photographs, there will be other ‘accessories’ adorning the booth, but you will have to visit the State Fair to get your up-close and personal look at this sure to be award-winning design. Booth Volunteers are welcome to share the attributes of our county and to encourage tourism, by coming by the Chamber office at 571 So. Highway 49, Jackson . Tues.-Fri, 9-4. Please no calls, as you will need to complete Megan’s Law forms.
